The US Subsidiary
will have primary responsibility for the corporate
oversight, back of the house functions, including
auditing and accounting and of course marketing.
The primary marketing efforts to the US (SME) small
and medium sized business will come under the
auspices of the US division. The US division is
currently working on presentations for the US
Chamber of Commerce and the US Department of
Commerce. The US subsidiary of American Pacific Rim
Commerce Group will also be responsible for all
filing and reports necessary to insure the company
is current and meeting any and all obligations for
listing with the appropriate exchanges as
necessary. Additionally the US subsidiary will
handle reports to Security Exchange Commission (SEC)
and the Hong Kong Exchange (HKE) when the company
initiates trading of its securities.
In addition to the
above responsibilities the US Subsidiary will
provide oversight for the following:
-
Revenue and
System Management of the mymyJ.com ecommerce
site;
-
The pages
have been designed such that Prominence
in various ways (moving billboard,
advertising space) is available to enhance
the revenue possibilities from suppliers and
create interest for customers.
-
Furthermore, we are incorporating a search
advertising feature, so that when a user
pulls up a product type there are pop up ads
that are shown that have something to do
with the product or services the user is
interested in. This is in effect what Google
does.
-
We are
currently designing a back office
advertising management system that will
allow us to easily manage the pages and
advertising from our own database. This will
also track and manage hits, which will allow
us to subcontract billboards and space to
someone like double click.
-
Logistics
-
We have
entered into an agreement with Tutamen and
Jbei to solve the logistics in
getting the goods to the customer.
-
For the B2B
customer this can and may happen
independently of the website because there
will often be enough critical mass we must
however put ourselves in the position to
make revenue of this significant fact. The
use of our logistics is an option for the
B2B customer.
-
We will
also be able to provide inspection services
by an international inspection firm, if
required by the customer.
-
For the
B2C customer we have to be actively
involved. This is a problem that is
insurmountable for most US SME’s.
i.
We will
offer to consolidate shipments in the USA.
ii.
All goods
will clear through Hong Kong where we have access to
JBei warehousing.
iii.
JBei partner
is Hong Kong Post that has almost unique ability to
make shipments into the mainland and this can be
done at tremendously reduced prices and timing.
iv.
We have not
yet worked out the pricing strategies for this
system but will do so during the beta phase.
-
At a later
date there is a plan to have warehouses and
even showrooms in China but this
functionality will not have to exist on day
one.
-
Payment
-
Again B2B
customers will probably work out their own
arrangements, however the opportunity does
exist for them to use the MyMyJ payment
system.
-
We have
developed a partnership with 1worldcard that
has a relationship with Union pay and Bank
of China and payments can be made into and
out of China. We have tested the system
three times and it works – payment takes
about 3 business days to clear.
-
We have to
be able to have an escrow system that will
clear together with goods – we are working
on this but have not yet solved this.
